Amazon is already the place where you buy gadgets, books, and toys. But to win the future, Jeff Bezos also wants Amazon to be the place where you buy paper towels, cereal, and dog food.

In yet another sign that Amazon is trying to capture the market for the mundane, Reuters reports that the company is planning to roll out a new service called Amazon Pantry. Basically, the service would let you relatively easily and cheaply purchase as many household items as the company can stuff into a standard-sized box.
