Q: How will the money collected be managed? How can people be confident that the money collected will be only used for this project?
A: The not-for-profit organization Alternatives will be our financial sponsor. Alternatives is an NGO that has worked for human rights and justice in the Middle East for many years and is recognized by CIDA. The money collected for the Canadian Boat to Gaza will be kept distinctly separate form Alternatives other funds and used only for this project. All members of the working group behind the Canadian Boat to Gaza are working on a voluntary basis.
